“Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, or Death” Why Does The American Matter?
The chain of political, economic and social changes that developed during the Enlightenment Age inspired the American Revolution, French Revolution and Latin American wars for independence. Enlightenment writers explored the relationship between governments and the people they governed. The ideas they espoused included freedom, natural rights, self-determination, limited government, consent of the governed and the common good.

Procedure:

After studying the American Revolution and its impact on the world stage, the students will script a list of 10 Key things to know about the American Revolution and its impacts Their design will be influenced by the example on the Supreme Court.

 

Activity 1:

Students will create their list of ten things regarding the Revolution’s impact.

  • They should compose a reference page if supplementary materials are utilized in their creation.

Activity 2:

Utilizing Google Drawings and their list, students will create their digital piece

Completed product will be shared with instructor
